YOSA Rising Star Fellows

Preparing the
next generation of
professional musicians

The Rising Star Fellows Program is YOSA’s most selective track for talented young musicians who aspire to conservatories, university music programs, and careers on stage. Fellows receive advanced training, personalized support, and financial resources to help them reach their full potential.

Qualifications

  • Who Can be a Fellow?

    · Musicians in grades 9-12
    · Musicians showing exceptional promise
    · Musicians planning to pursue music professionally
    · Musicians who would benefit from extra mentoring and resources

  • Expectations Include:

    · Commitment to the study of classical music and private lessons
    · Active participation in YOSA orchestra and school music program
    · Regular assessments through performance juries and advisement meetings
    · Engagement in masterclasses, workshops, and community performances
    · Parent/guardian support

  • How are Fellows Selected?

    · Musicians must meet all criteria, expectations, and audition for YOSA.
    · Fellows are invited to join the program once a year (typically in fall).
