Other Ways to Give

Your Company and YOU

Some employers offer payroll deduction programs that allow employees to make recurring charitable contributions directly through their paycheck. Please contact your employer to learn whether this convenient giving option is available to you.  In addition, some employers match charitable contributions made by their employees, allowing your gift to go even further. To maximize the impact of your support, ask your employer whether they offer a matching gift program.

Things can make a difference - In-Kind Donations

YOSA gratefully accepts a variety of in-kind contributions, including professional services, meals for musicians, silent auction items, musical instruments, and more. All in-kind gifts are acknowledged in accordance with IRS regulations.

Legacy Giving (Planned Giving)

One of the most meaningful ways to support YOSA’s future is by including YOSA in your estate plans. A legacy gift through your will or estate helps ensure that future generations of young musicians continue tothrive.

Sample Bequest of the Remainder of an Estate

“I give, devise, and bequeath to Youth Orchestras of San Antonio, TAX I.D. #74-1926713, all [or state the fraction or percentage] of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real and personal. Youth Orchestras of San Antonio may be contacted at 106 Auditorium Circle, Suite 130, San Antonio, TX 78205, (210) 737-0097.”

Sample Bequest of a Specific Amount

“I give, devise, and bequeath $_____ to Youth Orchestras of San Antonio, TAX I.D. #74-1926713. Youth Orchestras of San Antonio may be contacted at 106 Auditorium Circle, Suite 130, San Antonio, TX 78205, (210) 737-0097.”

We encourage you to consult with your attorney before making any changes to your will or estate plans. For guidance regarding planned gifts that may provide income benefits—such as charitable remainder trusts—or to explore additional estate giving options, please consult a qualified financial or estate planning professional.

For questions about planned giving or to speak with a YOSA staff member, please contact the Development Director at (210) 737-0097 ext. 112 or development@yosa.org.
