Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
DEI Statement
Youth Orchestras of San Antonio’s dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is inseparable from our mission as the premier youth orchestra in San Antonio, TX. We strive to ensure that pursuing classical music excellence is equally accessible to all youth. We are a community that comes together through a shared love of classical music but recognizes that there are systemic inequalities at every level. YOSA stands in solidarity with our musicians, families, and community to dismantle those systems and uplift all diverse voices. In this endeavor, every musician has the opportunity to maximize their creative, academic, and social potential and enrich their community.
