Sara Vicinaiz joined YOSA in April 2018. A native of the Rio Grande Valley, Sara holds a Bachelor of Music in Oboe Performance from the University of North Texas and a Master of Arts in Musicology from Indiana University. Sara Vicinaiz is passionate about bringing music to the San Antonio community as both an arts administrator with YOSA and baroque oboist with local ensemble Sonido Barroco. She believes that access to the arts and cultural institutions are integral to all communities. In her free time, Sara loves to read, bake, do yoga, and spend time with her husband Erik & cat Gracie.
